….and so I’ve graduated college. Whoopee! Academics, Professors, The Noisemaker Parties [The Great Din], The Social Cemetery, The Endless Study are over! This News post will be short, but I’d like to get out of the way quickly: that I’m on Artfight this month to celebrate. If you want to catch me there go for it, it's unlikely for me to go again anytime soon due to business.
Painting is a crime. I took a painting class near the end [an incredibly stressful semester otherwise], and I was terrible at it. Color had never agreed with me, so curmudgeon’d my way to the canvas area; I got past a few until I noticed something mysterious had happened. There was a color on the painting I didn’t make, what had happened was the colors mixed together on the canvas- that is, reacted to one another! THIS was what I was missing from color, the chaotic expression; I made more and more messes and now I wanted to find a way to get them into my artwork universal. This would take time, but it was for a love of a new idea. I went on a hiatus to meet painters, and funnily enough the Strike Man Drawing did preview a bit of this thought.
In fact, I did a lot of study on a variety of topics. You would uncover me on the multitude of floors, the library world day in-and-out, I really enjoyed that pleasant solitude! Composition, Paint, Avant-garde, Art Movements, Fantasy, well-balanced-diet. In studies I have met amazing animator friends, met some industry folk, & entered some studio spaces. I found a new way to express my messy experiments, and hopefully make them into a repeatable method/process to give as much as I can! Theres an original piece series coming later tomorrow on Ants, - I think it shows this perspective well, I hope you’ll like it! I’m still learning! Much more to come!
